COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies and other similar mechanisms to learn how users use our Website and for marketing purposes, including displaying advertisements to them elsewhere on the Internet.

A cookie is a small text file stored by a website on your computer, phone or any other device. The cookie contains data about your use of the site.

By default, web browsers allow cookies to be stored and accessed by your device. Some cookies are necessary for the operation of the Website. In other cases, the first time you access our Website, we ask you to consent to the installation of cookies.

You can change your cookie settings at any time by selecting the appropriate options HERE: Manage Cookies; or by changing your browser settings. You can find more on this topic at http://www.youronlinechoices.com/pl/twojewybory. Your blocking of specific cookies will be considered a revocation of your consent and will mean that we no longer process your data in this regard.

Below you can read exactly which cookies we use and to which companies your data may be transferred in connection with them.

1. statistical analysis of our Website

  • We use tools that collect statistical data to help us understand how users use our Website. The data we receive from these tools does not give us information about a specific person and we do not combine it with other data you provide to us.

  • We use Google Analytics. Google may collect data on its servers obtained from cookies from various websites
and uses this information to create reports related to website traffic.

  • The information Google Analytics collects about users includes: how many times a user visits the site; the date of the first and last visit; the duration of the visit; the page from which the user visits the site; the search engine the user uses; the link the user clicks; the location in the world from which the user accesses the site, etc.

  • We use Google Analytics in such a way that your IP address is shortened before being passed on. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and only shortened there. The anonymized IP address processed by Google Analytics is generally not combined with other Google data.

  • You can prevent Google Analytics from logging information from your browser by installing a special plug-in found here. You can find further detailed information about how Google Analytics works here.

  • We use a tool called HotJar that records data regarding user behavior on the Website such as navigation, page scrolling, cursor movement, approximate location, device used, operating system, browser type. The data received in this way is processed in an aggregated and anonymized manner in order for us to improve the way the Website works.

  • You can find more information about how the Hotjar tool works here here. You can block Hotjar from measuring your activity using the link here

2. Google Ads - behavioral advertising and other Google tools

  • Google collects the data obtained from placing cookies on your device on its servers and uses this information to display advertisements on other sites you visit. This data is collected on all sites where you have allowed the use of cookies (including our Website), as well as from ads you have clicked on. Typically, cookies from Google expire after 3 months.

  • We, as advertisers using Google's services, do not have access to the cookie data stored on your device, but we can commission ads to audiences of our choosing, such as all people who have visited our website (or its specific subpage) in the last 7 days.

  • This data is only statistical material for us, and we only commission advertisements based on aggregate criteria (to specific target groups, not to a specific user), so the cookie data is not combined in any way with other data you give us.

  • You can read more about how Google uses cookies to display ads and how you can manage your settings about ads here.

  • We also use, through Google Ads, the DoubleClick tool, which allows us to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns implemented by GoogleAds and analyze its results.

3. Facebook conversion pixel

  • We use the so-called "Facebook conversion pixel" to manage ads on Facebook and Instagram.

  • With this tool, Facebook obtains information (assigned to your profile on this site) that you have visited our Website. This allows us to commission Facebook and Instagram to advertise to those people who have been to the Website or to particular subpages of the Website (remarketing).

  • We then receive only statistical data from Facebook on the effectiveness of the ads (e.g. how many people saw our ad, how many people clicked on it), without reference to specific users.

  • If you have a Facebook or Instagram account, we encourage you to read more about data protection on these services: Facebook and Instagram.

4. social plug-ins

  • Social plug-ins of social networks Facebook and Instagram are used on our Website.

  • When you view a page containing such a plug-in, your browser will establish a direct connection to the servers of the social network. The content of the plug-in is transmitted by the respective service provider directly to your browser. The service provider then receives information that your browser has displayed our Website, even if you are not logged in to the respective social network or even do not have a profile in it.

  • If you have logged in to one of the aforementioned social networks prior to your visit to our Website, its owner will be able to directly attribute your visit to our Website to your profile on the respective service.

  • You can find further details of the use of information from social plug-ins on the pages of the providers of these services: Facebook/Instagram

  • If you do not want social networks to attribute the data collected during your visit to the Website directly to your profile on a particular service, then you must log out of that service before visiting our Website. You can also completely prevent plug-ins from being loaded on the Website by selecting the appropriate settings HERE: Manage cookies.

  • The legal basis for our use of essential cookies (indicated above) is our legitimate interest, i.e. the right to operate the Website to support our business, and the need to maintain its security. The legal basis for our use of other cookies is your consent and/or the contract between us.

In connection with our processing of your personal data through cookies, you have rights at any time, which we write about below.

Our use of cookies, in particular for behavioral advertising purposes, may involve so-called profiling. This means that We or the marketing companies we use may create a profile of you based on the information we collect (e.g., email address, order history, type of device, technology used, frequency of visits) and, based on this, formulate purchase forecasts for the future. This allows us to decide what content (including ads) to display on our and other websites.
