a collective of individuals from the fields of sustainable development, holistic well-being, psychology and personal development, educators, and social and environmental activists.

meetings and events that are inspiring, educational, and that strengthen the sense of community

the belief, that our passions can shape and support a conscious lifestyle, one filled with care for oneself, those around us, and the planet

continuous movement, growth, and the creation of events that address current issues and help find solutions through collective action and small steps towards change.

TEAM

Justyna Traczyk

Founder of MovementForChange. A seasoned yoga teacher and facilitator of somatic and trauma-informed practices. She promotes a blend of self and collective care through daily movement and meditation practices that transform. She values both action and quality rest. She leads MERU Shala and organizes retreats and workshops that foster safety, agency, and responsibility. Over the years, she has taught in a dozen countries—from India to the West Coast—sharing her practice with oncology patients, refugees, and incarcerated women.

Everyday Movement: 20 years of daily Ashtanga Yoga practice, indoor climbing and mountain climbing—from the Tatras, through the Alps, to Yosemite—cycling, Pilates, and always a beginner skier, as she usually spends winter in India.

MovementForChange in a few words: I have repeatedly felt that yoga and its accompanying system of values are not only an excellent support for activism, but activism in its purest form. Every outdoor experience is an impulse to act for the protection of the world's resources and beauty.

KaMA KRÓLIKOWSKA

A designer with many years of experience in Sustainable Design and Cruelty Free Design. Passionate about performance art, she has been exploring improvised forms of expression, experimental choreography, and contact improvisation for years. Her "sinusoidal" relationship with art, as she describes her connection with creativity, reflects a deep commitment to discovering new forms of artistic and design expression.

Everyday Movement: Contact Improvisation, Experimental Choreography, BMC, stillness on a meditation cushion, and the movement of patterns, symbols, and colors through which she creates graphics, websites, and everything you see here.

MovementForChange in a few words: Her work reflects a philosophy that blends respect for nature, a passion for innovation, and the belief that design and art can influence society and the world around us.

JUSTYNA FILIPEK

( she/her )

A passionate member of Patagonia for several years, she proudly shares the brand's social and environmental initiatives. She’s dedicated to responsible fashion and educating us on ways we can make our surroundings more sustainable—both for ourselves and the planet. Growing up in the countryside, she developed a deep connection to nature and the importance of living in harmony with it. Now based in Kraków, she makes the most of every moment outside the city whenever she can.

Everyday Movement: long bike rides, mornings yoga.

MovementForChange in a few words: You can go alone, but if you want to go further, go as a group. This applies to outdoor work, Patagonia, and everyday life—we need to open up to each other and build communities that support one another, so we can achieve more.

Natalia has dedicated many years to working at the intersection of communication and community management, including a tenure at Google overseeing online communities and organizing conferences across Europe and the United States. She also partnered with Google For Startups Campus Warsaw, planning regular meetups and events. Ultimately, she exchanged bustling cities like Warsaw and New Delhi for the serenity of the Portuguese countryside by the ocean.

Everyday Movement: practicing yoga and traveling through life hand in hand with her three sons.

MovementForChange in a few words: I tackle topics on children’s environmental education and explore ways to merge cutting-edge technology with a close connection to nature. I also spotlight local entrepreneurs, creative individuals, and those committed to caring for our planet.

INCLUSIVITY & DIVERSITY

Everyone is welcome at MFC Camp, regardless of gender, age, background, orientation, physical limitations, religion, or beliefs. We are committed to an inclusive culture that embraces different perspectives, allowing us to learn from diverse worldviews and appreciate their value.

COMMUNITY OVER COMPETITION

We believe in the power of collective action and mutual support through life’s challenges. The activities and discussion topics at MFC Camp are designed to cultivate these qualities. Through creative endeavors, physical effort in natural surroundings, and conversations rich in meaning, we will experience the true value of being part of a community.

EQUALITY

Our aim is to make MFC Camp accessible to anyone who feels it meets their needs. We recognize that some individuals may face barriers to attending, which is why we offer scholarships that can be requested during registration.

BRAVE SPACE

When we learn new skills and try things for the first time, we step outside our comfort zone, open ourselves to feedback, and discover our courage and sense of agency. At MFC Camp, we provide an environment that encourages such experiences while ensuring full respect and support. We do not tolerate aggressive language, pressure, or negative comments.

CANDID dIscypliNE

Authentic discipline is the state where a sense of obligation transforms into joyful willingness, because we know that our efforts will enrich our inner resources and support a vital aspect of our lives. It’s about daily lessons in gentleness, tuning in to our needs, and directing our attention inward. It also means welcoming challenges, relaxing into action, and entering a state of flow.

EMPOWERMENT

Strengthening self-esteem, having the freedom to choose, the power that comes from being part of a supportive community, and cultivating a sense of agency are our main objectives. We see a clear connection between the climate crisis and social inequality. We recognize that outdoor activities are one path to empowerment, which in turn translates into collective, purposeful action for meaningful change.
